Executive Producers, Doha Film Institute (DFI) approached Underbrand to create a website that would promote the film to a global audience in-line with their set marketing strategy. Whilst being visually striking the website needed to be in both English and Arabic, call in external video and deliver a seamless link to the social media activity of the film’s marketing campaign.
To answer the brief we set about designing the website around the key art and strong imagery shot on location, both featuring full-screen throughout the site. To add further dimension to the site we animated the key art, created a custom expanding-drawer navigation and brought the film’s Facebook news feed into the interface of each page.
To further support the website Underbrand created a collection of downloadable desktops and a series of banner advertisements for the film.
The result is a fully content managed, dual-language website that can grow in content and is gaining huge traffic at each stage of the film’s releasein different territories around the world.
