Marriott loves you, it’s true

When it comes to corporate travel in Australia it does not get much better than these four hotels.

The Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Sydney Harbour Marriotts approached Underbrand to help create a Valentine’s Day campaign aimed at their corporate clients on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

We came up with the ‘Marriott Loves You’ Campaign.

On the 8th – 12th February, the proactive sales teams of the hotels, dressed in ‘Marriott Loves You’ polo shirts, visited their corporate clients. The idea was to show appreciate and ‘love’ through gifts of cookies, pink lamingtons, heart shaped balloons and a clever brochure displaying their offers that was in the format of a Valentine’s Day card.

Their offers were all based around the number 14 (being Valentine’s Day). For example if you booked a day delegate package, every 14th delegate was complimentary. In addition, every  person they met with went into a draw for a bevy of prizes including overnight stays at the hotels.

The campaign was well received not only with clients they visited and directly with bookings, but also with everyday people on the street who stopped them to ask what they were doing and where they could get the polo shirts.
