A very Peculiar Wood

As one of London’s leading event spaces, each year the Brewery create one monumental theme for their Christmas parties and start promoting it in February.

The Brewery commissioned Underbrand to bring this idea to life by creating a visual identity to the Christmas campaign.

This year’s theme is ‘An Extraordinary Evening in Peculiar Wood’. The concept is a secret party in the deep English wood attended by the forest’s animal elite and hosted by a dapper cockney named Terry the Fox.

We approached the visualisation by creating human like, sophisticated animal characters. Part of the process included the Creative Director modeling a series of vintage finds for the male characters.

The result include an interactive animated microsite of Peculiar Wood and the characters, press advertising and a cute 12-page ‘Woodland Passport’ accompanied by a Terry the Fox doll.
